Race to the White House!
Objective:
Students will be able to identify the Presidents and when they were in presidency.
Students will scan the three QR codes in order to interact with the bulletin board and it's many features. Students will be able to measure themselves on the large ruler in comparison to multiple Presidents' heights.
Standard:
5.1.17 Explain why the first American political parties developed and analyze the impact political parties had on early presidential elections.
Description:
After scanning the QR code provided and watching the So You Want to be President? read aloud, students will explore the race to the White House track. One QR code is connected to a Presidents song that lists all the Presidents names in order of their reigning. Next, students will be able to complete a Sporcle trivia game of guessing all the Presidents by name, in order. Finally, students will measure themselves against the large ruler and determine how the measure up to our past Presidents.

- Green, black, yellow paper
- Letter cut out in red, white and blue
- QR codes

- 6'4" yellow paper ruler
